Regular black holes in three dimensions

چکیده
We find a plethora of new analytic black holes and globally regular horizonless spacetimes in three dimensions. The solutions involve single real scalar field $\ensuremath{\phi}$ which always admits magneticlike expression proportional to the angular coordinate. metrics, satisfy ${g}_{tt}{g}_{rr}=\ensuremath{-}1$ represent continuous generalizations Ba\~nados-Teitelboim-Zanelli (BTZ) one, solve equations Einstein gravity corrected by family densities (controlled unconstrained couplings) constructed from positive powers $(\ensuremath{\partial}\ensuremath{\phi}{)}^{2}$ certain linear combinations ${R}^{ab}{\ensuremath{\partial}}_{a}\ensuremath{\phi}{\ensuremath{\partial}}_{b}\ensuremath{\phi}$ $(\ensuremath{\partial}\ensuremath{\phi}{)}^{2}R$. Some obtained describe with one or several horizons. A set them possesses curvature singularities, while others have conical BTZ-like ones. Interestingly, some cases no singularity at all, being completely regular. latter are achieved without any kind fine-tuning constraint between action parameters and/or physical charges solution. An additional class describes geometries.

Relating black holes in two and three dimensions.
The three dimensional black hole solutions of Bañados, Teitelboim and Zanelli (BTZ) are dimensionally reduced in various different ways. Solutions are obtained to the JackiwTeitelboim theory of two dimensional gravity for spinless BTZ black holes, and to a simple extension with a non-zero dilaton potential for black holes of fixed spin. Similar reductions are given for charged black holes. The ...

We review black-hole solutions of higher-dimensional vacuum gravity and higher-dimensional supergravity theories. The discussion of vacuum gravity is pedagogical, with detailed reviews of Myers-Perry solutions, black rings, and solution-generating techniques. We discuss black-hole solutions of maximal supergravity theories, including black holes in anti-de Sitter space. General results and open...
متن کاملBlack Holes in Two Dimensions
Models of black holes in (1 + 1)-dimensions provide a theoretical laboratory for the study of semi-classical e ects of realistic black holes in Einstein's theory. Important examples of two-dimensional models are given by string theory motivated dilaton gravity, by ordinary general relativity in the case of spherical symmetry, and by Poincar e gauge gravity in two spacetime dimensions. In this p...
متن کاملRegular Black Holes and Black Universes
We give a comparative description of different types of regular static, spherically symmetric black holes (BHs) and discuss in more detail their particular type, which we suggest to call black universes. The latter have a Schwarzschild-like causal structure, but inside the horizon there is an expanding Kantowski-Sachs universe and a de Sitter infinity instead of a singularity. Thus a hypothetic...
متن کاملRegular Black Holes and Confinement
Properties of the rotating Kerr-Newman black hole solution allow to relate it with spinning particles. Singularity of black hole (BH) can be regularized by a metric deformation. In this case, as a consequence of the Einstein equations, a material source appears in the form of relativistically rotating superconducting disk which replaces the former singular region. We show a relation of the BH r...
